When the new Framework becomes official policy, there will be specific actions to endorse and work for: new legislation, policy guides for public agencies, budget proposals and programs.

Right now, we’re at step one: getting as many individuals and groups as possible to endorse the guiding values and principles that will shape the new cultural policy, so that policymakers understand they have broad, enthusiastic support.

In addition to seeking endorsements from individuals, you can help by asking the leadership of organizations and agencies in your community (or larger networks in which you to take part) to add their groups’ names to the list of endorsements. Because there is no election or legislation involved, this presents no risk to their tax-exempt status.
